A note on math rendering and browser compatibility¶

The math on this site uses MathJax. The equations are written in LaTeX and you can copy the TeX source (or MathML for pasting into Word) by right-clicking (control-click on a Mac). See a video tutorial here.

To see the equation in a larger font you can set the zoom trigger. To do this right-click (control-click) on any equation and the go to “Settings -> Zoom Trigger”.

Some browsers may not be able to display equations. In particular, I have found Internet Explorer does not render the math correctly (or at all). I recommend using Safari on the Mac and Chrome or Firefox on Windows and Linux.
